APL Career
Qais Ahmad is in the Balkh Zwanan squad for APL T20 2026, picked in the Supplementary category at the player draft in Dubai on 3 November 2026.
Qais Ahmad took 5 for 18 in four overs in the 2018 final and was player of the match. Kabul Zwanan had chosen to bat. They reached 132 for 9. His spell is the best confirmed bowling analysis this site will quote from that season. Other five-wicket hauls, if any existed, are not listed in the final scorecard material used here.
He was a Balkh Legends bowler, in a side already carrying Mohammad Nabi's off-spin and Gayle's batting. The final showed the shape of that attack: take the wickets up front, let the batter finish a modest chase.
Team Balkh picked him in the Supplementary round of the 3 November 2026 draft, according to the ACB's squad list. Balkh Zwanan is a different club from the Balkh Legends side he won the 2018 final with.
